The 2026 KAL theme is local fiber! This could be grown, milled, spun, or dyed locally, to name a few examples. Local could also mean purchased from your LYS (maybe it's one of our business sponsors!), a pattern from a local designer, or found at a neighborhood swap. This year's theme is intentionally open-ended to help us reflect on our local fibersheds and fiber communities. To many of us, the connection to our art is more than just knitting and crocheting the finished object. Feel free to take this as an opportunity to explore what local fiber means to you! We can't wait to see what you've made at our November 4th meeting!
